Supervisor - Child & Youth Services

Zahra brings over 17 years of experience in foster care and child & youth services, backed by a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Science. As BoraCare’s Supervisor of Child & Youth Services, she is deeply passionate about helping children in out-of-home care feel safe, supported, and at home.

A strong advocate for cultural connection, Zahra has championed initiatives that keep children connected to their heritage – work she has proudly presented at two conferences under the theme “Slow Down and Listen with Love.” She is also an accredited Step by Step assessor for foster care.

Zahra’s commitment to cultural connection is felt in every interaction, from her work with young people, to the thoughtful way she shares Persian treats and traditions with her colleagues.

Beyond her incredible professional expertise, Zahra loves being out and about – exploring, celebrating, connecting, and making the most of life. Her vibrant personality and genuine positivity add so much heart to our team.
